No. IMA® offers you the flexibility to take the exams in any order.
If you have an accounting, audit, or manufacturing background, then take Part 1 first.
If you have a finance, engineering, or MIS background, then take Part 2 first.
The program is fully digital, so you can attend the sessions online from your home, work, or any place with an internet connection. All you need is a laptop/desktop computer.
You can ask questions within each session, since the class is conducted with a live instructor. Questions will be answered on the spot. And if you still have any questions, you can either attend the same session that will be given live after the first one or ask them in the next session prior to the start of class. In case you still have any questions, you are welcome to send us an email and we will reply within 24 hours.

The CMA® exam is offered within two-month testing windows. Exam windows are: January/February, May/June, and September/October.
The CMA® exam (Parts 1 and 2) is offered at Prometric centers worldwide. Visit www.prometric.com to find the testing centers nearest you. Exams are scheduled after you pay the exam fee to IMA® .
Each part of the CMA® exam is broken down into 4 hours. The first 3 hours are allocated for 100 MCQs, and the remaining 1 hour is set for 2 essay problems.
To pass, you must score a total of 360 points out of the 500 points.
Scores are released about 6 weeks after the end of the testing month. If you took your exam on 12 February, you start counting approximately 6 weeks after the end of February. Your result will be posted to your IMA® profile, and you will receive an email notification of your result as well.
